Abstract
Feline Coryza is a common respiratory disease in cats. It can be caused by different pathogens such as the feline herpesvirus, the feline calicivirus, Chlamydia felis, Mycoplasma spp. and Bordetella bronchiseptica. These pathogens are highly contagious and can spread through nasal secretions, eye discharge, saliva, and close contact between cats.
The Astéria® Coryza test (AC-HCC) is based on the LAMP technology. It allows detection from oropharyngeal/oral/nasal or ocular swabs of a genomic fragment of pathogenic feline herpesvirus, feline calicivirus or Chlamydia felis in a reliable and rapid manner to obtain indications about the presence or absence of the pathogen(s) incriminated in the appearance of the clinical signs observed. Then, the most appropriate treatment can be provided in addition to a possible isolation of the animal in case of calicivirus contamination.
Unlike traditional PCR reactions, Enalees tests are performed in few steps on a portable and easy-to-use reader system. The result can therefore be obtained in less than 30 minutes directly in your clinic.

Abstract
Feline parvovirus and canine parvovirus are commonly found viruses transmitted among unvaccinated cats and dogs. Feline panleukopenia and canine parvovirosis are caused by this single-stranded virus which is highly contagious and can spread through nasal secretions, oral secretions, faeces, close contact between animals and contaminated environment. Symptoms vary from fever, diarrhoea, anorexia, lethargy, vomiting and could lead to the death of the animal for young unvaccinated cats and dogs.
The Astéria® Parvovirus tests (AE-Pf and AE-Ps) are based on the LAMP technology. They are designed to detect the DNA of feline and canine parvovirus on faeces for the first assay, and blood for the second one, in a reliable and rapid manner, without discrimination of the species. Then, symptoms can be treated, and the immediate isolation of the animal could prevent the contamination of others. The blood assay should be used for animals in poor condition, when faeces are not easy to collect. In addition, LAMP technology assays also provides higher sensitivity than antigenic assays available for veterinarians.

Abstract
Currently, the direct detection of pathogens contaminating animals can be performed by 1• PCR, giving highly sensitive results but this requires sending the samples to a specialised laboratory which can give the results only a few days later. 2• Antigenic tests which can give a result quickly but with a lower sensitivity than PCR.
LAMP technology (Loop mediated isothermal AMPlification)2 is a NAAT technology (Nucleic Acid Amplification Test) which can be performed at constant temperature, unlike PCR which requires thermal cycles (Figure 1). This allows the use of this technology as a POC (point of care) test and allows the obtention of the result in only 30 min without the necessity to use a thermal cycler. This technology can be useful to detect highly contagious pathogens causing diseases in animals and the possibility to administrate the appropriate medicine or isolate the animal immediately.

Abstract
Tick-borne diseases can cause an array of symptoms in infected dogs such as weight loss, depression, anorexia or anemia with a range of long-term effects. Babesiosis, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis and Borreliosis (Lyme disease) are diseases known to be transmitted by ticks and can be caused by protozoan parasites called Babesia canis canis, Babesia canis vogeli and Babesia gibsoni as well as pathogenic bacteria Anaplasma phagocytophilum, Anaplasma platys, Ehrlichia canis and Borrelia burgdorferi, respectively.
The Astéria® Babesia-Anaplasma-Borrelia test (AT-BBAB) is based on LAMP technology. It is designed to detect a genomic fragment in blood of pathogenic Babesia canis (subspecies canis and vogeli without discrimination), Babesia gibsoni, Anaplasma (subspecies phagocytophilum and platys without discrimination) and Ehrlichia canis (without discrimination with Anaplasma), Borrelia spp. in a reliable and rapid manner to obtain indications as to the presence or absence of the pathogen(s) incriminated in the appearance of the clinical signs observed. Then, the most appropriate treatment can be early provided to the dogs, as the treatment is symptom and pathogen dependent.
