Enalees, a French biotech company and a leader in rapid veterinary molecular diagnostics, announces the signing of a distribution agreement with Belgian company Unisensor, a recognised expert in the development of analytical solutions for milk quality and bovine herd health.
Under this agreement, Enalees will distribute MastiSensor® and RespiSensor® tests in the following territories: France, United Kingdom, Germany, Republic of Ireland, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Canada and the United States, for the entire Enalees Group, including its UK, German and Canadian subsidiaries.
This strategic partnership enables Enalees to strengthen and expand its Rhéa® range, dedicated to livestock, by providing rural bovine veterinarians with new rapid diagnostic solutions that can be used directly in the field, supporting animal health and farm performance.

Based on shared values of scientific rigour, analytical reliability and proximity to field practices, this collaboration combines Unisensor’s expertise in bovine diagnostics with Enalees’ know-how in deploying rapid molecular solutions at the veterinary point of care.

MastiSensor® – Rapid diagnosis of bovine mastitis
MastiSensor® is a rapid point-of-care diagnostic test designed to identify the pathogens responsible for bovine mastitis. Usable directly in the clinic or on the farm, it enables veterinarians to quickly guide therapeutic decision-making. By supporting pathogen-based decisions, MastiSensor® helps to limit empirical treatments, improve herd health management, preserve milk quality, and reduce the economic impact of this major dairy production disease.
RespiSensor® – Rapid molecular diagnosis of bovine respiratory pathogens
RespiSensor® is a molecular test based on isothermal LAMP technology, enabling rapid detection—within less than one hour—of the main viral and bacterial agents involved in Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD). The test detects, in particular, Bovine parainfluenza virus 3, Bovine coronavirus, Bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV), Mycoplasma bovis, Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni, as well as several other major bovine respiratory viruses.
By delivering rapid on-site results, RespiSensor® enables earlier intervention, improved treatment effectiveness and a significant reduction in economic losses linked to delayed diagnosis, while fully addressing current challenges related to antimicrobial resistance.
